Kimberly A. O’Sullivan’s practice focuses on employment law and litigation. Ms. O’Sullivan handles matters on behalf of both employers and employees. During her legal career, she has provided counsel to employers with respect to various employment issues including policies/procedures and handbooks, how to deal with harassment, discrimination, disabilities, family leave, wage and hour compliance, discipline, restructuring, lay-offs, and termination of employees.
Ms. O’Sullivan has also handled and managed litigation involving numerous types of claims of harassment and discrimination, including those on the bases of gender, race, age, religion, national origin, and disability, as well as wrongful discharge, wage and hour, FMLA, and retaliation claims filed in state and federal courts, and with administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NJDCR.
Ms. O’Sullivan was previously employed by the firm of Pitney Hardin LLP (now known as Day Pitney LLP). There, she defended corporations on a variety of employment issues and provided day-to-day counseling to various employers.
Ms. O’Sullivan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry G. Carroll of the New Jersey Superior Court from 2002 to 2003.
