Barbara Martin practices in the area of Real Estate Transactions, Small Business Planning, Wills, Trusts and Estates. She counsels clients in various estate planning matters, including estate taxes, and drafts estate planning documents such as Wills, Living Wills, Health Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, and Guardianships. Ms. Martin received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University in 1996, and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999.
Previously, Ms. Martin was employed by the firm of Faust Goetz Schenker and Blee in Livingston, New Jersey and New York. There, she defended corporations on employment and products liability issues. She attended the Seton Inns of Court in 2001-2003. Ms. Martin served as law clerk to the Honorable Stephen E. Mochary of the New Jersey Superior Court from 1999 to 2000. Ms. Martin is admitted in New Jersey and the Federal Court, District of New Jersey. While attending law school, Ms. Martin worked as an intern for the Honorable Harold Margolis, in the Chancery Division, General Equity Part.
Ms. Martin is extremely active in her community and volenteers for several organizations such as the Nutley Survivors.
